About Central

Central Elementary School houses Early Childhood-5th grade students in the Rhinelander community. We have two classrooms of each grade and just under 250 students. The majority of our class sizes are under 20 students per classroom. We are fortunate to have a one to one ratio of computers (Chromebooks) to all K-5 students. This gives the teachers more access to utilize technology when it best fits learning time in the classroom.  

We offer elementary sports to grades 4-5.  We are looking forward to having 4th & 5th grade students getting to play other community schools in boys basketball, girls basketball, and co-ed running and co-ed volleyball.   We offer Family Nights, host a spring carnival, and close the year out with our School Olympics.
